We’ve produced six national junior champions more than any other club in Alberta and we love tennis so much, we host more Tennis Alberta-sanctioned tournaments than any other club in the province.

Advantage Tennis Academy. Advantage Tennis Academy (ATA) is a locally-owned tennis academy based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We offer a wide range of lessons; from private lessons, to semi-private, and groups available, we are sure we have something for everyone's need. We offer instruction to players of all levels and ages.
Shawna Lalande-Weber is the president, owner and originator of the Calgary Academy of Tennis. She started the Academy in 1999 and has produced one of the most successful summer tennis programs in Western Canada. Shawna began playing tennis at the age of 10 and, by age 11, was sponsored to attend the All Canadian Tennis Academy in London, Ontario, training with Pierre Lamarche.
Located in southeast Calgary, we are a not-for-profit organization that serves the community with year-round access to eight indoor courts, five outdoor championship courts, state-of-the-art technology, a fitness centre, hospitality services and onsite parking.
Tennis Academy is now Aforza Our new name, Aforza, is jam packed full of meaning. It comes directly from the Italian word for strength — forza — and is also inspired by effervescence, which means vivacious, enthusiastic, and bubbly.
